Balance Monochrome with Statement Looks
If you want to give some main character energy without being too extra or overly desperate in presentation, remember that you don’t need to overdo it. You can still balance the monochromatic with the colorful, for example. If you’re wearing a bold, visionary top and want to truly make a statement with both class and flair, try pairing a neon top with black cargo pants. This way, you’ll look dramatic but also put together and well kept.
Echo the Print or Color
If at all possible, utilize elements of repetition in your entire ensemble, like with matching eyeshadow, socks, nails, or earrings to go along with the main color or print of the outfit. This way, your outfit can display signs of visual harmony without being too disjointed, distracting, or overbearing.
